Hello there! Let us introduce ourselves, we are Mr. and Mrs. Bedford.
We are well aware of the fact that it is not an easy task to find a fine martial arts school.
In our childhood, we had different feelings about the decision of starting martial arts. We were unaware of the spirit that it took to succeed in this path and didn’t know if we had what was needed for finding success in martial arts as confidence and athleticism was something we were lacking. We soon came to find out though that our martial arts journey would set up the most heartfelt experience of our life. In 1999, we took an oath when we opened our school that we would teach the children and adults of our Olathe communities the art of confidence, self- esteem, fitness, and most importantly leadership skills which can only be fruitful after the practice of martial arts.

ARE YOU WONDERING WHAT SONGAHM TAEKWONDO IS?
Songahm Taekwondo is a developed Martial Arts style that is taught in our Program. The path from White Belt to Black Belt is a total of 10 belts that can be earned and is one of gradual mastering and ability improvement that all ages and any wellness level can begin.
GET PREPARED FOR TOURNAMENTS WITH FUN AND ENTHUSIASM!
Perhaps the best part of martial arts preparation is the opportunity to test your abilities by competing in a tournament. Tournaments are a good time for participants and become an extraordinary social environment for ATA parents to get to know each other! There are right now 130,000 ATA Martial Arts students around the world. ATA Martial Arts students compete in regional tournaments against other ATA schools, progressing from State levels, to District levels, to a yearly Spring National Competitions. The champs get together at the ATA World Expo Tournament to compete against finalists from other parts of the world at the biggest martial arts tournaments.
